ЁЯЪМ Labour MP Abtisam Mohamed has called on the UK Government to consider granting unpaid carers free access to public transport.

Currently, the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme offers free off-peak bus travel to individuals with eligible disabilities and those of State Pension age. Extending this benefit to unpaid carers would acknowledge their invaluable contributions and provide much-needed support.
