It seems that the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Ed Davey, is strongly for Social Care and Carers, given they have a disabled 10 year old son that they care for and understand the challenges faced by Carers. He mentioned this on July 17th in the House of Commons saying, 'Care has been in the Shadows', 'A broken system not designed to work for care', and saying Government need to 'fix Social Care'.
