Hello everyone
I’ve recently been speaking to a carer who looks after her dad with dementia. We were discussing Carer’s Allowance, and I wanted to ask for some advice.
If a person with dementia has professional carers visiting daily, but their primary family carer is still the first point of contact 24/7 and provides care in between visits, would they still be eligible for Carer’s Allowance?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!"
