Yesterday, I had the incredible honour of attending the launch of the Blue Sky Social Care Card at the House of Commons—a truly inspiring event coinciding with Carers Rights Day.

One of the most unforgettable moments was meeting the extraordinary Kate Garraway, ITV Good Morning Britain presenter, who shared her deeply personal story of caring for her late husband Derek. Her courage and resilience deeply resonated with me and aligns so beautifully with our mission here at We Talk Care. At our core, we strive to create a community where caregivers feel supported, valued, and understood every single day.

This event was a powerful reminder of the importance of standing united for carers and amplifying their voices—not just on Carers Rights Day but every day.
